Danielle is a Filipina writer born and raised on the island of Kauaʻi. Her work is either an attempt to map colonial histories onto our modern day intimacies, or to ramble about her pop culture obsessions—it depends on the day. She is a 2019 Kundiman Mentorship Lab Fellow, 2020 Tin House Scholar, and MFA candidate at The Ohio State University. She serves as a creative nonfiction editor at no tokens.
